i miss you, light

im that creature
crouching in the dark
afraid of the light
cant stand the light

altho sometimes i miss it
radiant bright shining light
it hurts my eyes just to look at it

but sometimes..
i went outside
and close my eyes
absorb the light
the warmth
flowing inside me

n i would be tempted to open my eyes

thats when everything changes

my body would reject the light
for a while im blinded

then i fell
closing my eyes i crawled
back to the dark
holding my knees
sweat pours allover
i started to shiver
i peek
once a while
to the distant light
n then crawled back
to the darkness n beyond
